About the event
Our friends at Peachtree Learning Center are hosting a wonderful author, Carolyn Weber, and we wanted to be sure you knew of it! Her most recent novel is Sex and the City of God, and her earlier award-winning novel, Surprised by Oxford, has also been made into a film. Carolyn has also written Holy is the Day: Living in the Gift of the Present, and Home Going: Poetry for a Season. ABOUT THE BOOKS: Surprised by Oxford is the memoir of a skeptical agnostic who comes to a dynamic personal faith in God during graduate studies in literature at Oxford University. Carolyn Weber arrives at Oxford a feminist from a loving but broken family, suspicious of men and intellectually hostile to all things religious.
