Plenty is happy to announce our participation in the 11th Anniversary of Independent Bookstore Day!
We will have exclusive indie merchandise available for purchase, giveaways, snacks, balloons- all the party things needed to celebrate independent bookstores and the vital roles they play in our communities- AND to celebrate and thank YOU, our patrons and friends, who so kindly choose to shop with us and keep us here.
We have decided to add a "read-in" this year. At 2pm, we are asking everyone across the region to stop what they are doing, pick up a book and read for 6 minutes. By reading for just 6 minutes a day, we can reduce stress by as much as 68% (results found in an official study by the University of Sussex). Please come join the fun downtown for the read-in!
